how 1 X article ends up on 5 more platforms

you wrote something good. on X it gets about 48 hours in the For You feed, and then the feed moves on.

the same piece could also be on your blog, your newsletter, Substack, LinkedIn and Medium, indexed on google and live forever.

every platform has its own audience, so each copy reaches people the X version never will.

here's how to post everywhere from 1 article: your AI writes a script once, and from then on 1 command takes the piece to every platform you publish on.

write it once, post everywhere

everything starts from the article you post on X.

  • the X Article link is the source
  • every other platform gets a copy of it, reshaped to fit (length, headings, images, links, metadata, SEO, AEO)
  • you write once
  • AI does the rest

what happens once you hit post

you run 1 command with the article's link. your AI takes it from there:

  1. pulls the article and its images
  2. builds the blog post on your site
  3. sets up the newsletter draft
  4. publishes it to Substack (web only, or email to the list)
  5. posts a LinkedIn newsletter
  6. drops it on Medium
  7. drafts short teasers for Threads and Bluesky
  8. runs 12 SEO and AEO checks on the blog post and newsletter drafts, so search engines and AI answer engines can find it and read it

keep the jobs where your eye matters:

  • the newsletter send. review it a bit more, then hit send yourself
  • the teasers. they sit as drafts until you read them and post

the first run took about 100 steps

the worked example: Auny posts each X Article to her blog on aunysillyme.com, her beehiiv newsletter, Substack, LinkedIn and Medium. the very first time, her Claude did every step by hand: about 100 tool calls for 1 article.

so she had it turn those steps into a python script. now the same job takes a few calls, and it's much easier and faster for Claude or Codex to run.

she keeps 2 jobs for herself by choice: the beehiiv send to about 4500 subscribers, which she reviews a bit more before hitting send, and the Threads and Bluesky teasers, which wait as drafts until she reads and posts them.

[if a job takes your AI 100 steps by hand, that's the job to turn into a script]

have your agent do it

you don't need an exact setup. start with the platforms you already use, and give your agent this:

I post long-form on [your main platform]. List every other platform where audience reads long-form content. For each one, write down what has to change: length, format, images, links, title. Then walk me through publishing my latest piece to each one by hand, and save every step you take.

once you've done it by hand 1 time, give it this:

Turn the steps you just took into a script I can run with 1 command. It should prepare and check every platform, and leave the final publish button to me or use browser control to post where applicable.

any AI can do it, so if you don't use Claude or Codex, ask whichever AI you work with. if you want the ready-made skill, it's listed on Agensi: Articled.
